Back to square one:
Its been slightly over a month since I restarted my poker journey. The first week or two I was gradually getting back to playing. The last 3 weeks I been grinding the tables like I did when I was a cash player some years back. I ran my bankroll from $0 to three figures four maybe five times within this newly restarted venture. Won multiple $109 tickets/ $55 tickets and endless amount of smaller tickets. Lots of opportunity was had. My most recent attempt seen me run up a bankroll to over $200 from $0 within five days. I play high variance/ high volume poker. I found success playing this style multiple times in the past. The swings are as bad in one direction as they are friendly in the next. Playing such a style ensures I have a decent size stack when I do make it to the final game of the phase tournaments I play in. Its the same type of action I always seen. As much as poker has evolved over the years there is still much that stays the same. However today I was on the bad side of variance. Flopped top set vs. bottom set to have my opponent make quads. Shortly after my AA got cracked by JJ all in preflop. Lost all significant races. A handful of bad beats over a time period of about 15 minutes zonked my roll. Am I deterred? Not even close. I expected such to be possible. I didn't expect five "rolls" to get busted. Rolls: if you can call them that. Rolls in poker is the amount of funds one has to play with. Binking a tournament means to win a tournament.
I was hoping I could go on a run the first attempt but that is not what happened. Attempt six is coming up. We still have about $10 and a $22 ticket for a tournament to be played on Sunday. We also are in the final qualifier for yet another $109 ticket for a game that will also be played this Sunday. If we bink a tournament for some cash over the week we will continue grinding. If not it'll be break time; combined with re-evaluation of my strategy and reviewing my play. I might have to set my cashout limit lower so I can bank funds for the ultimate goal of using that cash on a first deposit bonus. Meaning; I possibly should be cashing out when I reach $100+. Cashout the $100 and use whats left to repeat. But that is a thought and a decision for next week. We will see what this weeks tournaments bring. If I bink one its business as usual. If not some much needed R&R for a handful of days and then back at it. Poker Forum: not much headway has been made in the building of. I had a day or two put aside to start the build but life had other plans. Since we plan on using the forum as a bridge to Hive I don't think we need much bells and whistles. Just a place to store our passwords (if they are needed). A place where WEB2 can join and we gradually move them to and inform them about Hive (where our home-base will be). A place I can point to our WEB2 sponsors we plan on attempting to get. WEB2 sponsorship for Hive, is it possible? I negotiated deals in the past for hundreds of games. That was when I already had a poker forum and hundreds of players who signed up under my trackers. It will be an uphill battle but I will get it done. Until then it's back to square one.

This is about what its been trading at for awhile now. I find it interesting that the Hive Token dipping below 9 cents and then momentarily below 8 cents didn't have a domino effect on the GLX Token. Its holding Strong at its buy and ask points. A sign that those who hold the token aren't eager to trade away their GLX at today's trade value.

Splinterlands
I been battling here n there earning some rewards and Frontier draws. I haven't had much luck in the draws. I binked a Black Foil card the first draw I was in and that was that. Eventually another will be on the horizon. I think the Campaign Mode and Frontier Ranked Play are very valuable to user acquisition and retention so kudos to whoever thought them up and implemented them.
