This drone show is also a part of the Muscat festival which I shared yesterday. Year on year I see it keeps getting better. Muscat festival has been going on for more than 2 decades in the city, but the drone show has started only in the last 3 years, and when it started there were barely 4 to 5 images, and that too some very simple ones, but with time it's progressing with more images and better quality show. Looking at such things, you feel that technology can be displayed in such a beautiful way. The fireworks which I shared yesterday and this drone show are the major attraction of the festival.
When I had newly shifted to Muscat that time I had lot of excitement visiting this festival and over the years I can say that they have maintained their standards, raised the bar and made it more engaging for the people. It is the yearly fair in the city with lots of activities to do and the fun factor not to be missed. What has been innovative in this festival are the type of shows that are being organzied. From local to international artists there are variety of shows, and all worth to watch.
As the drone show started, the night sky was illuminating with lights. It was all in perfect sync with the patterns coming up. Truly these drones equipped with LED lights, advanced sensors and GPS systems are a marvel of tech. The drones were forming designs of all Oman's iconic landmarks and items of cultural significance, in the background there was music which was supporting the show and making it all the more fun.
Let me share some of the visual treats of the drone show.
This is the Grand Mosque of Oman. One of the most important buildings in Oman and also the most majestic. Every tourist who visits Oman does not fail to visit this Mosque.

The other iconic place of Muscat city is the Muttrah Souk. It is the traditional Omani market. Souk is the arabic word for market.

These are the famous Ministry buildings

It showcases the Omani family

Oman has a long coastline running through the country and it is famous for the port activities. These pictures is a reflection of the local fishing businesses and also the water activities like the Dhow cruise.
