Some Mondays feel heavy, but today started the opposite way, light, calm, and full of small details that made me want to pick up my camera again.
For this set, I focused on a simple plant that would normally be overlooked. The leaf looks like it was carefully carved, almost like lace, with tiny repeating patterns that feel both delicate and strong. I decided to keep the photo in black and white because it highlights the texture so much better. Without color to distract, the lines and edges become the main story, and the background fades into a soft blur that lets the subject breathe. Monochrome has this quiet magic, it simplifies the scene while making the details feel louder.
I think there’s so much to say about photography, nature, and lifestyle, but it always comes back to the same point, everyone sees things differently. Some people chase big landscapes or perfect sunsets. I’m usually happy with a quiet corner of greenery and a few minutes of attention. For me, if a hobby keeps me moving, keeps me curious, and makes me feel healthier and happier, then it’s worth keeping for life.
Maybe I’m just in a good mood because the weather is nice, but I’ll take it. It feels like a great way to start the week right, slow steps, fresh air, and a reminder that beauty is always nearby if I’m willing to look.
Thank you for viewing my post.
Have a good day ahead.
