Friends, it's a pleasure to greet you and send you a big hug from here—virtual, but a hug nonetheless. đŸ˜… My drawing for today is of a drum, the Native American Drum. This is the i87 deck. It's a common deck and has the 1 Luck bonus if you buy it from Rising Star. I loved being able to draw it today. Take a look at how I started it; I'll tell you more about the drum in a moment.
As its name suggests, the Native American Drum is a drum used by ancient American civilizations, from Native Americans to more recent indigenous cultures. It's steeped in a fascinating culture. In ancient times, it was used for mostly religious celebrations, that is, for the veneration of their cultures and beliefs. This role still exists, but it has changed considerably. Currently, it's used in classical and meditative indigenous music. Its design and shape weren't always like this. In fact, it's just an evolution of what existed before, which was surely redesigned several times to arrive at what we have today.
I'm from the Americas, so I've heard their music many times. Here, it's mainly used for religious purposes, and it's still used a lot for that. But generally, it's used more to create the atmosphere of Indigenous classical music. So far, you've seen how I made the drawing; I hope you found it interesting. That concludes this drawing of the Native American drum. I'll be back soon with more. Remember what I told you yesterday: I'll be bringing you drawings of instruments, but also of people, so I hope you'll come around and we can have some fun together.
Thank you for visiting my drawing. Warm regards.
