a nice sunrise on East Beach
Good Morning today I will share a few shots of a nice sunrise on East Beach here in NEw Bedford, of course not recent, back when it was warmer and not covered with snow like it probably is now
Itis a popular, wide sandy beach located on East Rodney French Boulevard on the western shore of New Bedford Harbor.
it is known for being family-friendly, and I can say thats true as I have driven by it in the peak of summer on a weekend and it was packed with families, its a nice sandy beach with calm waters, scenic views of the Butler Flats Lighthouse, a fishing pier, and a bike/walking path, making it a key summer spot. for those who want to be more active than sunbathing on the beach it feautures outdoor volleyball courts, to go alomg with swimming, and sunbathing.
it is safe as it has seasonal lifeguards (last weekend in June through Labor Day), restrooms, outdoor showers, and a first-aid facility.
And after explainingall that I will say for me its the peace and quiet of being there before and during sunrise that I love the most so peaceful, calm and relaxing.
