Hello Photography Lovers,
I hope you are all doing well, wherever you are. The other day, while I was walking through the fields, I spotted a mongoose in a canal at quite a distance. It was peeking around cautiously. I thought to myself that I shouldn't get too close, as these creatures are very quick to flee. If it got scared and ran away, I wouldn’t be able to capture any photos at all.
So, staying in my position, I aimed my camera toward it. After taking a few shots from a distance, the mongoose slowly tried to enter the crop field. In fact, it did go inside for a moment, but then it came back out and started walking along the field ridge (ail) directly toward me. I kept taking photos as it approached.
Once it got very close, it finally noticed me. Perhaps it sensed something dangerous, as it got startled and quickly disappeared back into the crops. I am sharing some of the photographs of that mongoose below. I hope you enjoy them!
