Another day of bitter frost
Winter isn't letting up, and the frost wave is reaching its peak this year. I admit, it's starting to annoy me.
Zima nie odpuszcza, fala mrozów osiąga w tym roku swoje apogeum. Przyznaję, że zaczyna mnie to denerwować.
Today, the landscape in the park looked like it had been left behind by a war. I felt like I was the only desperate person out for a walk. I didn't meet a single person.
Dzisiaj krajobraz w parku wyglądał jak po jakiejś wojnie. Miałem wrażenie, że jestem jedynym desperatem, który wybrał się na spacer. Nie spotkałem ani jednej osoby.
The birds are clearly fed up with this frost, too, because they ate everything they could find today. Besides the nuts and sunflower seeds, I also had a piece of bread roll—they didn't refuse, as they usually do. Oh well, just wait until spring.
Ptaki najwyraźniej też mają dość tych mrozów, bo jadły dzisiaj co popadło. Oprócz orzeszków i słonecznika miałem też kawałek bułki - nie pogardziły, co z zwyczaj robią. Ech, byle do wiosny.
