Earlier this month, after increasing my amount of exercise with a professional trainer, I started to feel more active. Ideas began to flow, my hands followed, and I ended up adding a touch sensor to Puppie (@pupiko).
At the moment I’m using a low-cost TTP223 sensor, which is connected directly to the GPIO pins of a Raspberry Pi 4B. Because its sensitivity is hard to tune, the sensor is currently placed outside the body. In the future, I plan to install it inside the wooden body so that Puppie can respond when she is gently touched on her head and start listening.
The current setup is very simple — touch detection just triggers an audio file — but it’s surprisingly fun. Next, I’ll connect this to the voice interaction system I’ve been developing.
And this time, I uploaded a video to @threespeak for the first time 🥳 I decided to use the Hive platform and it turned out to be very smooth and easy!
By the way, speaking of Puppie: together with my partner, I recently appeared on Sachsen Spiegel, an evening TV program that also airs outside the state. Step by step, the project seems to be moving forward. I’ll keep going at my own pace.

今月の初めから運動量を増やしたら、なんだか体も気持ちもアクティブになって、次々とアイディアが浮かび、手が動いて、プピちゃん（@pupiko）にタッチセンサーをつけてみました。
今使っているのはTTP223という安価なタッチセンサーで、Raspberry Pi 4BのGPIOピンに直接つないでいます。感度の調整が少し難しいため、現在は筐体の外に出していますが、将来的にはいいセンサーを買って木のボディの中に入れて、頭をなでると反応して、話を聞き始めるようにする予定です。
仕組み自体はとてもシンプルで、触れたことを検知して音声ファイルを再生するだけなのですが、これが意外と楽しい！次は、これまでに作ってきた音声インタラクションの仕組みとつなげていこうと思います。
そして今回、はじめて 3Speak に動画を投稿しました 🥳 YouTube と迷ったのですが、「せっかくなら Hive のプラットフォームを使ってみよう」と思い、試してみたらとても簡単でした。
そうそう、ぷぴちゃんといえば、先日うちの相方と一緒に、州外でも放送されている夕方の番組「Sachsen Spiegel」にも出演しました。少しずつですが、プロジェクトは前に進んでいるのかもしれません。マイペースで続けていこうと思います。
