El equipo del Leeds con los pocos minutos de juego la resistencia se quebró, varios errores y es aquí donde el jugador Martín Zubimebdi aprovecha esos espacios y lograr conseguir la primera anotación para el Arsenal en el minuto 27, siendo el comienzo de algo grande para dicho equipo.
