Beer and a movie
Hello, friends around the world. Hello, friends of Hive, lovers of beer and the delicious things in life. Today is Saturday again, the last Saturday in January, and it's the perfect day to drink and share a delicious beer with you at #BeerSaturday.
In the past, I remember that one of the things I used to do on the weekend was go to the movies with my friends. I remember we would pool our allowance to pay for tickets, popcorn, soft drinks, and other snacks. Nowadays, I haven't been to the movies in years: I watch movies at home.
And that's what I did yesterday: I dressed comfortably, made popcorn, opened some beers, and watched Zootopia 2, a children's movie produced by Walt Disney. The beers I opened were some black Polarcitas that I had bought in the afternoon and were nice and cold.
As many of you know, La Polar is the most popular beer in Venezuela and one of the oldest. Over the years, its slogan, presentation, and even its image have changed, but it has always maintained its characteristic flavor.
Although CervecerΓa Polar has two types of Polar beer, dark and light, I personally prefer Polarcita negra, or Pilsen, as it has a stronger and more bitter taste. But it must be said that the general public prefers Polar light.
Polarcita Negra is made with ingredients such as malt, hops, water, and grains, and has an alcohol content of 4.5%. The ones I drank came in returnable bottles, which makes them cheaper, less than $1, around $0.70, and a 36-bottle case costs $24.
After having two beers and refreshing ourselves, we gathered strength to continue with all the joy in the world. I would like to invite my friend @tengolotodo to delight us with a post on The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 448, an initiative of the #beer community and the incomparable and friend @detlev.π»π
