I tried to help a spirit finding her living umbrella, which had been possessed by an evil spirit. After a failed attempt to return it, I battled Students of Misery to free trapped souls. Finally, I used a Tengu to reach a rooftop, where I discovered a corrupted tree.
When I was exploring around, I met this soul of a little girl who was stuck. She was keen to get back her umbrella that was shape-shifting into a living being, so I decided to help her find the elusive object.
When I was looking for the umbrella, there came two dogs barking towards me for food. Unfortunately, I did not have any leftover dog food with me, so I just gave them a gentle touch and a pat on the head.
I absorbed some spirits around that place to increase my strength. The blue light swirled into my katashiro, and I felt the energy of the city's lost inhabitants helping me prepare for the supernatural threats lurking in the shadows.
I was still looking for the umbrella, and suddenly I noticed there was something in this house. I went inside the cramped residence, sensing a heavy spiritual presence that suggested the umbrella or another lost soul might be hiding within.
After absorbing some spirits inside the house, I found a lost soul who warned me about some construction area. He told me there would be a big water explosion soon, which sounded like a dangerous obstacle for my journey.
I went back into the area where I should have looked for the umbrella and I noticed it was walking and jumping around. KK suggested I stay back and wait for our chance as it'd run away if it detect me.
I started following the umbrella, and when it was finally resting, I absorbed it with the help of KK. I noticed the umbrella was actually taken over by an evil soul that was distorting its form into something truly unnatural.
I went back to the girl to give her the umbrella, but she acted strange as she kept saying the same story. I could not give her the umbrella despite my efforts, so I eventually gave up and left her.
I continued exploring around and noticed there were some Students of Misery guarding some spirits on the street. I started attacking them with my wind weaving, striking them down.
There were two of them against the one of me, but they were a lot weaker than me. After taking them down, I absorbed the spirits there and prepared to guide them toward a nearby telephone booth for extraction.
I noticed there was a Tengu flying above me, so I used it as a grappling point to jump onto a building. I noticed there was a corrupted tree on top of another building, which served as a clear target.
