is something that should never be undermined as far as Christianity is concerned. Jesus in all His glory and status as God gave in time to prayers. We see Him pray in the wilderness after which the devil came to tempt Him. We also are Him pray during the period His crucifixion was around the corner. One effective way of strengthening our walk with God is by fervent prayers. The Bible told us in 1 Thessalonians chapter five to pray without seizing. It should be our lifestyle as believers. Some people have specific times they pray. For some people it's when they are in the mood, some people it is only when they are surrounded with problems. Prayer should not always be seen as a platform for making requests. Prayer shows our dependence on God; how on our own we can do so little or nothing. Being self dependent or seeking reliant can leave us vulnerable to the hands of the enemy. But when we have God on our side we are untouchable. Prayer is also an investment. There's no second that is gone to waste whenever we pray.
