in the great commission that Christ handed to His disciples before He ascended to Heaven was for them to go and baptize people of all nations. Baptism is an act by which we symbolize the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is one of the most significant acts we observe as believers. It is not something that should be treated casually. There are things that was instructed of us to do continually just like when Jesus stated that we partake in the communion and do it often. But there was never really a mention of being baptized multiple times. Jesus was baptized once and so were His disciples. The book of Ephesians 4:5 told us clearly that there is “one Lord, one faith, one baptism”. Before we jump into doing anything it is necessary that we know all about what we are doing. We need to be decisive about it so that we don't end up doing it over and over again. There's no need for us to be baptized twice. If we think we make our faith stronger by engaging in Baptism twice then we are wrong. When we do it right the first time then we have absolutely no need to involve in it again. Those who may undergo it again are those who didn't do it the right manner according to the bible.
