A strong and peaceful family starts by obeying God. If families obey God, many homes will not break. The Bible teaches husbands to love their wives, wives to respect their husbands, and children to obey their parents. This order starts with parents who know God’s word. A person cannot teach what he does not know. Parents must learn God’s word, do it, and teach it to their children every day. Malachi says God made marriage to raise children who respect Him. When God is the base of the home, peace grows. Each family member learns what to do. A family that follows God becomes loving and peaceful. True peace in the home comes from following Christ’s teachings.
