fall of us are prone to falling. But that doesn't mean it's alright for us to remain at that fallen state. One of the biggest mistake we make is by keeping our problems away from the person standing right in front of us who can offer us the help we need. Habits may be quite tough to overcome but with the help of God it is possible. God is mighty to save us from that bondage we find ourselves in but we first of all have to be willing to allow Him before the can come to our aid. But the more we keep it to ourselves the longer we remain in that circle. God had made His grace sufficient to us. When we are no longer in control of ourselves substance abuse we gradually begin to drift away from God which is a very risky way to live our lives Jesus says we can't have two masters. A master is someone that has influence offer someone else. God can't fully manifest his authority in our lives when we allow addictions take over them. If anyone should have influence over us it should be God. Romans 6:14 tells us that “sin shall not have dominion over you”. We need to come to a point where we accept this reality. When we do we begin to live it out even though we may have been held captive by addictions it becomes to manifest in our lives. Seeking freedom is not a sign of weakness at all but of strength.
