God first above every other thing in our lives is the best decision we can ever make. It is for our own good that we live the kind of life that is solely dedicated to giving God glory and honor. There is no no other greater sense of fulfillment. Living the best teenage life begins with putting God first. The manner of life lived by a teenager matters a lot because it is at this point that the teenager is exposed to a lot of influences from every corners of life. That is why as teenagers life should be lived in total surrender to God so that even when they are surrounded by these influences they still remain unshakable. Even when peer pressure comes along the way it would not stop them living life the best way that is expected of them as children of God. When life is lived without God's guidance there is every tendency that it would lead to regret later in the future. A teenager is expected to live life with the awareness that every action taken would have an an effect — either positive or negative — later on in life. They just shouldn't afford to see their future end up in catastrophe. A teenager cannot truly enjoy life or discover purpose if they refuse to let God into their lives. God's instructions are very useful to us and for our own good if followed. We avert a lot of pains and struggles in life if we simply just obey God's instructions for us over our lives. We are meant to walk in God's ways. Psalm 23 describes him as shepherd. That means He'll only lead down the part that is best of us. God desires that teenagers live in a way that reflects Him.
