it almost looks like a shadow of a bird with its wings spread to take flight but it's not.
we are only here in our garden with coconut palms for part of the year. we harvest them a couple of times and have far more than we can use ourselves. we sell many and make oil. some of which we also sell. but during the monsoon there ae inevitably some coconuts that fall to the ground and do not get harvested. with rain being plentiful some of these coconuts sprout and begin to grow where they landed.
eventually if allowed and cared for they will develop into trees that bear coconuts but that takes years and lots of care so it's not going to happen anytime soon. so for now we let them be and enjoy the shadows they cast
