Cool and wet on the South Florida Peninsula this penultimate day of January. Still the first month of 2026? “Time” [for those who believe in this concept] moves as it does, however perception is an individual taste. January seems to be creeping along in our simulation. How about you? Did it move faster than you remember or what?
Have you heard the acronym “TACO”? Apparently it stands for “Trump Again Chickens Out.” What is DJT chickening out from? Basically starting WW3. Huh? As if this would be the most ballsy move ever made. Humans outside of the US have a different perspective of our “Warrior Cred” than we do here. The way that so many celebrated humans go wrong is by believing their own fantasies. When observers call Americans “fantastic” they mean steeped in their own fantasies.
Anyway … the Fight Oligarchy series continues. I read this morning that the USD is being “attacked” [lost some of its ooomph] so the commentary about not worrying about the US economy is timely. I am an armchair vagabond philosopher, a microcosm of the US economy. I can barely run my shish - but I stay fed and stay housed for now.
