Yes, one of the best school days is the last day of school, but I have to say that I have also two others...The first is when we went on a trip. I remember how I couldn't sleep because I was so excited to go with my class. Another favorite day was also the last day of school before winter break. The school always organized a dance, and if I recall correctly, classes only lasted about four hours before we went to have fun...dancing, singing, with snow outside. It's interesting that I still remember these feelings even though it was 25 years ago. Thanks for this article...it was nice to look back a little :) Oh, and school was never closed.
