Have you ever thought a business was making it so hard or convoluted to use a product or service that it seemed like they didn't really want your business? That's how it feels lately when trying to figure out planning a dental cleaning for my dog with my vet. They only do cleanings Tuesday through Friday. The pet is sedated, so it's an all-day event, and they expect you to drop them off at 7am.

They're open on Saturdays, but of course they don't do cleanings then. I understand the vet doesn't want to have the pet stay overnight, but most of us don't want to dedicate an entire day off from work to clean a pet's teeth. It's at the point where I'll keep using them for regular services, but find a mobile vet who is willing to do dental cleanings on Saturday.
At some point, time is money. I would rather pay a little more to not waste an entire vacation day when 85% of it will be spent doing something while I wait for the vet to finish cleaning my dog's teeth. When there's so much competition, why should I settle when I can easily find a company willing to work a little to earn my business?
