Greetings to all my dear travelling friends on this lovely Monday. It is my pleasure to show you another place in my city of Maracaibo on this Monday, the start of the week.
Sigo visitando las hermosas plazas de mi ciudad que han restaurado y mejorado sus espacios, puesto que la plaza de las madres que busca rendir un tributo especial a todas las madres se encuentra localizada entre Cecilio Acosta y primero de Mayo fue fundadada en 1952, esta plaza siempre me ha parecido un espacio bastante bonito ya que siempre pasaba por aquí en la tarde al medio día puesto que debía ir a la Universidad, mis paseos a la Universidad se enmarcan a este espacio de las Plazas de Madres, esta plaza esta ubicada Justamente en una isla, pero cabe resaltar que esta plaza es mucha más grande.
I continue to visit the beautiful squares in my city that have been restored and improved, such as the Plaza de las Madres, which pays special tribute to all mothers. Located between Cecilio Acosta and Primero de Mayo, it was founded in 1952. I have always found this square to be a very beautiful space, as I always passed by here in the afternoon on my way to university. My walks to university are framed by this space of the Plazas de Madres. This square is located right on an island, but it should be noted that this square is much larger.
Podemos ver que la plaza posee en su centro una gran escultura o monunento, que esta esta elevada en un pedestal por completo, pintada de color blanco, este pedestal es de marmol, y granito en el cual primeramente podemos encontrar un escalón luego otro escalón, después tiene una gran base que posee justamente un pequeño letrero o cuadrado que dice Plaza de las madres acompañado con el número del año de su fundación, esta gran escultura, podemos ver una madre sosteniendo a sus tres hijos, en su mano izquierda sostiene a uno que carga en sus hombros, luego sostiene a otro que se encuentra amamantando, el tercero se encuentra en el centro de sus piernas y este es el más grande.
We can see that the square has a large sculpture or monument in its centre, which is raised on a pedestal, painted white. This pedestal is made of marble and granite, on which we first find one step and then another. then a large base with a small sign or square that says Plaza de las Madres (Mothers' Square) accompanied by the year it was founded. This large sculpture depicts a mother holding her three children. In her left hand, she holds one child on her shoulders, then another whom she is breastfeeding, and the third, who is the oldest, is between her legs.
Justamente en todo el centro de la escultura podemos encontrar un gran tapete guajiro de diversos colores hay un hermoso arco de con bancas de concretos donde las personas puedan sentarse como también realiza actividad física esos tapetes coloridos presentan otras figuras y buscan enaltecer la cultura Wayúu que sin duda alguna, es parte importante y esencial de nuestras raíces Zulianas, esta plaza es bastante hermosa muchas de las personas por la mañana se ejercitan y por la tarde buscan hacer actividades para mantener su salud como bailoterapia entre otras.
Right in the centre of the sculpture, we can find a large, colourful guajiro rug and a beautiful arch with concrete benches where people can sit and also do physical activity. These colourful rugs feature other figures and seek to celebrate Wayúu culture, which is undoubtedly an important and essential part of our Zulian roots. This square is quite beautiful. Many people exercise here in the morning and in the afternoon they seek to do activities to maintain their health, such as dance therapy, among others.
En el lugar esta disponible una silla colompio de madera donde puedes tomarte fotografías esta sostenidas por unas cadenas por lo que le da mayor temática al lugar, así como también existe en este espacio un corazón que enaltece nuestra cultura marabina con la gaita y colores Zulianos, como también hay un pequeño cartel ubicado justamente en el frente de la plaza me sorprendí mucho lo lindo que es pero la atención sin duda alguna se lo llevo la Iguana, que esta en el centro de la misma, esta estaba bastante viva quizo salir en mis fotografías y esta estaba disfrutando del sol vibrante.
There is a wooden swing chair available where you can take photographs. It is held up by chains, which adds to the theme of the place. There is also a heart that celebrates our Marabina culture with the gaita and Zulianos colours, as well as a small sign located right in front of the square. I was very surprised by how beautiful it is, but the iguana in the centre of the square definitely stole the show. It was quite lively and wanted to be in my photos, enjoying the vibrant sunshine.
En el lugar se encuentran diferentes tipos de arbustos, plantas así como también diferentes tipos de plantas silvestres en perfecto estado de mantenimiento y muy bien cuidadas quede totalmente fascinada, encantada por el lugar, cabe destacar que este espacio se encuentra en perfecto estado debido a su restauración alrededor de la plaza también hay otras bancas donde las perdonas pueden sentarce estas plantas estan distribuidas a lo largo de todo el lugar sin duda alguna son fantásticas.
There are different types of shrubs, plants, and wild plants in perfect condition and very well cared for. I was completely fascinated and enchanted by the place. It is worth noting that this space is in perfect condition due to its restoration. Around the square, there are also other benches where people can sit. These plants are distributed throughout the entire place and are undoubtedly fantastic.
Por último podemos encontrar el pasillo de los espirales que conforman los distintos semicirculos, estos son de diversos colores que le dan una temática atractiva, moderna al lugar sin duda alguna me encanto mucho ya que este pasillo de circulos es semicircular y permite atraves de un pasillo ver la escultura, la fuente, que apesar que esta última estaba apagada esta es encendida totalmente de noche y tiene colores.
Finally, we find the corridor of spirals that form different semicircles. These are of various colours, giving the place an attractive, modern theme. I absolutely loved it, as this corridor of circles is semicircular and allows you to see the sculpture and fountain through the corridor. Although the fountain was turned off, it is fully lit at night and is colourful.
