    Hello, friends and world travelers.

The hardest part of traveling is when it's time to leave a place behind, especially if I liked the destination. The town of Mesa de Esnujaque is charming and very peaceful. Before we left, I asked Ricardo to take me on one last tour, since we don't know when we'll be back.

We descended from the Hotel Esnujaque and as we descended and crossed the mountains, we could appreciate different shades of green where the mountains combined with the crops of chives, tomatoes, leeks, and lettuce. The pure air was all we could breathe, and there was a pleasant smell of wet earth and freshly cut grass, which I love so much.

We left the fields behind and returned to the village streets, some paved with asphalt, others with concrete and stones, which took us on a short journey into the past and also gave it a colonial feel, as did some of its houses, with wooden roofs, red tiles, and small balconies. This route took us back to the heart of Mesa de Esnujaque, its Plaza Bolívar and the San Juan Bautista Church.

The views from this part of the village are very attractive, captivating, and unforgettable, the kind that take your breath away. The church with the mountains in the background, the blue sky, and a few clouds made it seem unreal that I was there and that I was able to visit the little village I had wanted to visit for months and take home a beautiful memory of my trip.

We continued on our way back to the main road, where the beautiful landscapes accompanied us and the fields full of crops covered the ground in different shades of green.

We reached a natural viewpoint to lose ourselves in the mountain range and to observe our possible route back home. A man who was passing by at that moment took a photo of us together so we could finally say goodbye to this beautiful town called Mesa de Esnujaque.
