As in Ilhabela, it had to stop before the pier, and we had to travel to the port in a tender, but in this case, we went in a pirate boat. We had little time to do anything in Camboriu, and we had been told (I don't know if it's true) that you couldn't swim in the waters in the centre because they were polluted. So we thought about what we could do. We tried to get on a cable car, but there were so many people just to get a ticket, not even to get on, that it scared us off, so we called an Uber (luckily I was able to activate roaming on my phone) and went to the shopping centre. I'm not a big fan of shopping centres, but we didn't know what else to do, and it was very hot, and if there's one good thing about shopping centres, it's the air conditioning 😁. As the Uber was driving us, the driver told us that it was safe to swim at the beaches in the city centre, but we didn't want to take any chances as we were only halfway through our trip. A minute later, we were stopped by about eight police officers armed with weapons that I have no idea what they were, but they were about 80 cm long, and I was worried because I hadn't put on my seatbelt 😀. They stopped the car to ask the driver for his papers and to verify that the app was authentic, for security reasons. We arrived at the shopping centre, walked around, ate Chinese food (delicious and inexpensive) and I took the opportunity to buy flip-flops that were half the price compared to Argentina. What really caught my attention was that the books were between 15 and 25 reais, 4 dollars, which is crazy. Too bad they were obviously in Portuguese, so they weren't very useful to us, although I should have bought one and started learning the language. It wouldn't have hurt. Buen día comunidad de @worldmappin, continuando con mi viaje el día 27 de enero el barco llego a Camboriu nuevamente como en Ilhabela debio detenerse antes del muelle y tuvimos que viajar hasta puerto en un tender pero en éste caso fuimos en un barco pirata si bien era de chapa pinrado en madera pero bueno era lindo igual y fue una nueva experiencia. Teníamos poco tiempo para hacer algo en Camboriu y nos había dicho(no se si será verdad) que no se podía nadar en las aguas del centro por estar contaminadas. Con lo cual pensamos qué podemos hacer. Intentamos subirnos a un teleférico pero la cantidad de gente no para subir sino para sacar el ticket era tanta que nos acobardó, asi que llamamos a un Uber (por suerte pude activar el roaming de mi teléfono) y nos fuimos al Shopping, no es mucho de mi agrado pero no sabíamos que hacer y era mucho el calor y si hay algo que tiene de bueno los Shoppings es el aire acondicionado 😁. Ya llevandonos el Uber el chofer nos dijo que era seguro nadar en las playas del centro pero bueno no quicimos arriesgarnos recién estabamos a mitad de viaje. Al minuto nos detuvieron cerca de 8 policías armados con armas que no tengo idea que eran pero tenía aproximadamente 80 cm de largo y yo preocupandome porque no me había puesto el cinturón de seguridad😀. Detuvieron el auto para pedirle al chofer los papeles y la aplicación verificar que sea auténtica, cuestiones de seguridad. Llegamos al Shopping, lo recorrimos todo, comimos comida china(riquísima y económica)y aproveché a comprar hojotas que estaban a mitad de precio comparando con Argentina. Lo que me llamó mucho la atención es que los libros estaban entre 15 y 25 reales, 4 dólares una locura, lástima que estaban ovbiamente en portugués😌 asi que no nos servían de mucho aunque me tendría que haber traído uno y empezar a aprender el idioma, no hubiese venido mal.
