Greetings Photography Lovers, Travellers, Discoverers and Worldmappers!
Today im gonna share with you a magical place that looks out of a fairy tale and its based in France. It’s this little town called Colmar which is basically a medieval Venice but with French software.
We are gonna start off with the typical boat tourist activity where you jump on a boat with a companion wandering around and showing you the architecture of the town and telling you about its history.

You saw the mini port and yeah it’s very cozy looking you can’t believe what i saw it’s literally out of a fairy tale.

For the record i wasn’t even listening to the guy rowing the boat that was also telling us about the town’s history i was just enjoying the ride.
I really liked that there is even life in the water you can see ducks floating around you and they were really unbothered hehe

The town felt very calm like the time has stopped and the people weren’t in a rush at all it’s like they just live in the moment wandering around also enjoying the architecture as much as you.
The whole water system as i said reminds me of Venice but just a little picked up, cuz as you can see the last tunnel felt a little squishy but we went through it without a problem.

Not sure about how the people actually feel like there, cuz you have to expect for a tourist destination like this to be filled with people from all over the world, but the houses the trees the cleanliness like everything felt very embellished.
The town didn’t only felt like from a medieval fairytale but also like these childish cake houses you give to your little girl for Christmas but quadrupled if that makes sense.
Just for the record we are starting on foot from here so expect way more colours and architecture from now on.

I guess there isn’t only a love bridge with heart locks in Paris but also in Colmar and I honestly didn’t expect it but also wasn’t surprised at all.

Okay let’s talk about that house that looks like it was copy pasted out of a Shrek movie alright?
Im not entirely sure if it was this house, but by the photos i went there and there was a gallery of sort in it.
Firstly the building from the outside is artistic as it gets and looks like a candy house out of “Hansel and Gretel” story and secondly the gallery inside was actually not like a gallery with paintings, but all sorts of stuff if you find appealing you can buy.

Alright fellas this is the last stop of the post where we will get into the heart of Colmar and oh my i don’t want to say it again but…Welcome to Shrek 2 and the “Far Away” Kingdom.

Yeah this is the Eglise St. Martin Church and is basically Colmar’s Landmark. Amazing architecture i just love seeing buildings from the old world, but wait till you see the inside of it.

Amazing place to visit i could say definitely spare some time to add this charming town to your bucket list. Im leaving some accents in the end I managed to catch some shots while leaving after dark and the town’s illuminating lights is also beautiful as well.
