If you are doing a city tour of Kuala Lumpur, this building is a must see place for any guide. Yass, you read that right. Interestingly this building has become an iconic landmark to the famous "I Love KL" sign.
I remember my first time in Kuala Lumpur, this is everyone's favorite place. That was in 2013, almost 13 years ago and it seems the "I LOVE KL" sign has been renovate several times.. keeping it the same shape.
The sign is right in front of the main Library of Kuala Lumpur. It's a free place for anyone who enjoys reading book. There are many books on display, so.. you can read them on the premises and there's even a digital library. Don't be mistaken, this place is high tech, even though the building is surround by historic Malaysian heritage buildings.
The weather that day is truly sunny, like a beacon of hope. I don't know why, but, I feeling inferior because this city is so much more developed than my home country. Even though we're from the same ethnic group, the difference is so stark that it's now unmatched.
One of my favorites is this small pool, which seems to contain a world within it with the inscription "river of life or in melayu is sungai nadi kehidupan" which has a profound meaning. While there should have a fountain in the pool this afternoon, it seems it's been turned off, and it's a shame I couldn't see its beauty.
Walking around and taking photos on my solo city tour was quite interesting. Although the weather was too hot and the high UV rays could potentially burn my skin, when else would I be able to enjoy this trip alone?
It turns out that repeating a trip from 13 years ago is like retracing my life.
See you the next time hive friends!

Hi! Let me introduce myself, its me Wita.
I'm just a woman who wants to write whatever's on my mind. I really enjoy cooking, occasionally traveling, and doing whatever I like. I want to live like a bird flying freely in nature. But I know I'm only human. So, I can only write freely like a bird that can fly with its two wings.
I'm usually very interested in new things. Let me be creative with at least these writings. I welcome any suggestions, as long as you mention them politely in the comments section. We can have a free discussion every now and then.
Don't think too much of me as you see in my posts. I'm just sharing what I have, and some of it is actually quite enjoyable to post. It's just that I don't really like posting bad things. I hope we continue to work together to build this Hive community.
