Today we'll talk about Lake Saif ul Malook a breathtakingly beautiful lake located in Naran a northern area of Pakistan.The lake is steeped in a mythological take of paradise and fairies.Legend has it that lake came into existence around three lakh years ago.In front of the lake stands a mountain known as Malka mountain. Prince Saif a prince of Egypt had a recurring dream for seven consecutive nights featuring a fairy named Badr ul Jameel.A fortune teller revealed to the prince that the fairy visited this lake to bathe. Then you'll have to go to Naran to find her.The prince set off towards Naran and after months of journey finally reached the lake.
One night the prince heard the sound of wings and saw that some fairies had arrived at the lake and were taking off their clothes to bathe.The prince picked up the fairy's clothes and kept them with him. The fairy asked the prince return my clothes.The prince replied Marry me and I'll return your clothes.The prince told her the whole story and said I've come for you.The fairy moved by his words decided to go with the prince. In front of Lake Saif ul Malook stands a mountain known as Malka mountain.A jinn lived on this mountains who was also in love with the fairy. When he found out he came to the lake and both the prince and fairy fled towards Naran to save their lives.The Jinn broke the lake's dam and all the water rushed towards Naran.His intention was to drown them in the water.To save themselves the two took refuge in a cave. Some say they drowned in the flood while others believe they escaped to Egypt...God knows best.
