Hoy después de algunos inconvenientes he terminado una nueva ilustración inspirada en uno de los animes en emisión de la temporada y uno de mis favoritos debo admitir, obviamente estoy hablando de Jujutsu Kaisen, esta vez decidí dibujar a los dos hermanos Choso e Yuji, fue un gran momento cuando este segundo llamo a Choso como su hermano mayor así que quise dibujarlos como eso, Choso es un chico con gran sentido de responsabilidad por tener ese rol, así que lo dibuje siendo un poco sobre protector con el bueno de Yuji, también incluí la frase hermano mayor solo por probar, pero me termino gustando bastante, se ve como algo que podría imprimir en una franela, a continuación les muestro un poco del proceso, espero sea de su grado.

Today, after a few setbacks, I finished a new illustration inspired by one of the anime series currently airing this season and one of my favorites, I must admit. Obviously, I'm talking about Jujutsu Kaisen. This time, I decided to draw the two brothers, Choso and Yuji. It was a great moment when Yuji called Choso his older brother, so I wanted to draw them like that. Choso is a boy with a great sense of responsibility for having that role, so I drew him being a little overprotective of good old Yuji. I also included the phrase “older brother” just to try it out, but I ended up liking it quite a bit. It looks like something I could print on a T-shirt. Below, I'll show you a little bit of the process. I hope you like it.
Lo primero fue obviamente hacer el dibujo, como siempre probé un par de poses hasta que di con una que me gusto bastante, en esta Choso se encuentra serio reposando su mano sobre la cabeza de Yuji, quien se muestra algo absorto y despreocupado, a mi me pareció que era una buena pose que refleja el sentimiento de hermano mayor protector que siempre suele tener Choso, ademas que desde allí puede amenazar a cualquiera que se acerque a su hermanito sin que el siquiera se entere, luego que hice el dibujo procedí a añadir la base de color, aquí note lo pálido que es Choso en comparación a lo bronceado que se ve Yuji.
The first thing was obviously to do the drawing. As always, I tried a couple of poses until I found one that I really liked. In this one, Choso is looking serious, resting his hand on Yuji's head, who appears somewhat absorbed and carefree. I thought it was a good pose that reflects the protective older brother feeling that Choso always has. plus from there he can threaten anyone who approaches his little brother without him even knowing. After I did the drawing, I proceeded to add the base color. Here I noticed how pale Choso is compared to how tanned Yuji looks.
Quería dibujar en un principio el rostro de Yuji de antes del incidente de Shibuya es decir sin todas las cicatrices sufridas tras su pelea con Mahito, pero seria irreal pues el se junta con su hermano luego de eso y se hacen unidos recién en los juegos del Sacrificio, también en lugar de su uniforma de la escuela de hechicería decidí colocarle el suéter que suele llevar durante el inicio de esta nueva temporada del anime, mientras que Choso lleva su ropa habitual que ha usado durante todo el tiempo desde su aparición, en primer lugar definí los rostros de ambos y luego comencé a añadir las sombras en las prendas de cada uno y por supuesto también las luces, aunque en este punto aun no había decidido que haría en el fondo y eso me limitaba un poco.
At first, I wanted to draw Yuji's face before the Shibuya incident, that is, without all the scars he suffered after his fight with Mahito, but that would be unrealistic since he reunites with his brother after that and they become united in the Culling Game. Also, instead of his sorcery school uniform, I decided to dress him in the sweater he usually wears at the beginning of this new season of the anime. while Choso wears his usual clothes that he has worn throughout his appearance. First, I defined the faces of both and then began to add shadows to each of their clothes and, of course, the lights, although at this point I had not yet decided what I would do in the background, which limited me a little.
Luego decidí que solo añadiría un telón rojo en el fondo, bastante oscuro en realidad, así que comencé a dibujar un tono reflejo rojo sobre la ropa de los chicos específicamente desde el lado derecho, luego aplique mas sombras sobre los rostros, simulando una luz proveniente desde el lado izquierdo iluminando solamente una parte del rostro, luego como el tinte rojo me agrado aumente la densidad y cantidad del color, fue entonces que decidí añadir la frase en la parte superior también en color rojo sangre, esta idea no es al azar ya que la técnica de Choso es usar Manipulación de Sangre, así que ademas de la letra hice un goteo desde ellas del mismo color como si estas estuvieran escritas con sangre fresca.
Then I decided that I would only add a red backdrop, quite dark actually, so I started drawing a red reflection tone on the boys' clothes, specifically from the right side, then I applied more shadows on their faces, simulating a light coming from the left side illuminating only part of the face. Then, as I liked the red tint, I increased the density and amount of color, and that's when I decided to add the phrase at the top in blood red as well. This idea is not random, as Choso's technique is to use Blood Manipulation, so in addition to the letters, I made a drip of the same color from them as if they were written in fresh blood.
Y así ha quedado finalmente mi ilustración de este par de hermanos, parece un poco la caratula de una película de terror o algo mas turbio, pero solamente es un hermano que finalmente ha sido aceptado y de un sentimiento fraternal genuino y protector, yo amo a estos dos personajes fue tanto mi interés en todo el anime que ya termine de leer todo lo que esta escrito hasta el momento y estoy pensando seriamente comenzar a leer Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo y seguir a mi niño Yuji en esta nueva fase.
And so, this is how my illustration of this pair of brothers turned out. It looks a bit like the cover of a horror movie or something even darker, but it's just a brother who has finally been accepted and who has genuine, protective brotherly feelings. I love these two characters so much that I've finished reading everything that's been written so far, and I'm seriously thinking about starting to read Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo and following my boy Yuji in this new phase.
