Hoy en día los supermercados se han diversificado tanto que no solo ofrecen víveres y alimentos, sino que las grandes cadenas han incluido todo tipo de servicios, desde farmacias, óptica, panadería, locales de comida para llevar o disfrutar en el sitio, y hasta postres y heladerías como en el caso de Rattan, un supermercado con varias sucursales en la isla que sin importar el tamaño de su sede ofrece de todo un poco, como es el caso del Rattan ubicado en el Salado municipio Antolin del Campo Isla de Margarita.
Today, supermarkets have diversified so much that they not only offer groceries and food, but large chains have also included all kinds of services, from pharmacies, opticians, bakeries, takeaway or eat-in food outlets, and even desserts and ice cream parlors, as in the case of Rattan, a supermarket with several branches on the island that, regardless of the size of its headquarters, offers a little bit of everything, as is the case of the Rattan located in El Salado, Antolin del Campo municipality, Margarita Island.
Esta sede en particular es pequeña en comparación con las demás, pero la verdad es que ofrece de todo, y una de mis cosas favoritas es la heladería, ya que aparte de tener unas barquillas deliciosas los precios son geniales, además hace poco incorporaron galletas estilo "New York", y la verdad es que son también deliciosas, por lo que siempre que vamos de compras terminamos comprando barquillas o alguna galleta, pero para disfrutar de ellos tocaba hacerlo caminando dentro del lugar o cruzando la calle para ir a la plaza, cosa que no me gustaba mucho, y al parecer leyeron mis pensamientos y buscaron la solución 🤣
¿Cómo lo hicieron? Pues crearon un área fuera del supermercado (dentro no cabe ni un alfiler) con grama artificial, mesitas y sillas, rodeada de una cerca pequeña cubierta de enredaderas, que la verdad además de verse muy linda, es ideal para sentarte a disfrutar de tus postres o simplemente a esperar te vayan a recoger luego de tus compras si es que no has ido en carro propio.
This particular location is small compared to the others, but the truth is that it offers everything, and one of my favorite things is the ice cream shop, because apart from having delicious cones, the prices are great. They also recently added New York-style cookies, and they're also delicious, so whenever we go shopping we always end up buying cones or cookies, but to enjoy them we had to walk around inside the store or cross the street to go to the plaza, which I didn't like very much, and it seems they read my mind and found a solution 🤣
How did they do it? Well, they created an area outside the supermarket (inside you can't fit a pin) with artificial grass, tables, and chairs, surrounded by a small fence covered with vines, which, besides looking very pretty, is ideal for sitting down to enjoy your desserts or simply waiting to be picked up after your shopping if you haven't gone in your own car.
Por supuesto que cuando vi que crearon esta zona me alegré mucho, porque aunque está al descubierto y la estética es bastante sencilla a mi me parece encantadora, la combinación del verde con las sillas amarillas y la luz natural de verdad que fueron un acierto y es un espacio genial para sentarse a disfrutar de un delicioso helado luego de las compras, o solo ir por un helado, por que no? En horas de la tarde noche debe ser genial!
Las fotos que les comparto son de un día en el que fui sola con mi esposo, ya que se trataba de compras rápidas y los chicos no quisieron ir, así que luego de dejar las cosas en el carro volvimos a entrar por nuestras barquillas para por supuesto disfrutarlas cómodamente en las mesitas de afuera.
Of course, when I saw that they had created this area, I was very happy, because even though it is open-air and the aesthetics are quite simple, I find it charming. The combination of green with yellow chairs and natural light was really a success, and it is a great place to sit and enjoy a delicious ice cream after shopping, or just go for ice cream, why not? In the late afternoon, it must be great!
The photos I'm sharing with you are from a day when I went alone with my husband, as it was a quick shopping trip and the kids didn't want to come, so after leaving our things in the car, we went back in to get our ice cream and, of course, enjoy it comfortably at the tables outside.
La verdad es que me parece una adición genial al supermercado y demuestra el interés de la cadena de brindar comodidad a sus clientes ofreciendo un espacio tanto para disfrutar con calma de un delicioso postre o simplemente esperar con tus compras.
