I always try to avoid political topic. There are are many angle to it but mainly because of the amount of corruption at all its level. A democratic government is often referred as "of the people, by the people, for the people" because it derives its legitimacy from the citizens, who play a pivotal role in their election. When chosen by the public, it is expected to serve their collective welfare and interests. However, when government action focuses more on protecting capital and favoring the interests of the wealthy elite over the needs of the poor, then the same government will be referred as which a "government of the rich, by the rich".

Where the golden rule is "whoever has the gold, makes the rules"
There is no hidden facts the the wealthy people of the country especially the big corporate houses and industrialist plays a significant role in the government formation. In many democracies, wealthy individuals and corporate interests have a disproportionate influence on laws and regulations, particularly through lobbying and campaign financing. And in return they seek to derive their own benefit. Wealthy donors gain direct, behind the scenes access to politicians and decision-makers, allowing them to shape policy decisions to their advantage. While democratic systems are intended to serve everyone, significant wealth concentration can skew representation, leading to policies that favor the rich and neglect lower income or a common citizen of the country. A common concern is that if the government primarily responds to the preferences of the rich, it erodes trust in democratic institutions and leads to a sense of political suppression among the general population.
When money talks, democracy takes a back seat.
When government policy is engineered to disproportionately benefit the wealthy at the expense of the general public, it is categorized as grand corruption because it subverts the legal, political, and economic systems for private gain. While some argue that governments are inherently biased towards elites, others maintain that governments play a role in balancing the interests of all citizens. The government are somehow bounded by the big players as they are the source of economic development. They serve as the backbone of the nation and also major source for employment generation in the country. They have their own reason to have a say in the government. But they are also the one bring corruption into the system. While government structures vary, high levels of inequality often lead to situations where the government appears to serve the wealthy, challenging the principle of equal representation for all citizens.
In a big political framework, Governments are designed for the people, with constitutions ensuring equality, such as the right to vote for all citizens, regardless of wealth. But the real power lies with the wealthy. The focus on defending wealth can lead to rising rates of poverty, food insecurity, and death from preventable diseases among the poorest populations. Causing an unhealthy economy that may fight to sustain longer. A government committed to the welfare of the common man should act as a guardian, providing essential services, ensuring security, and creating opportunities for upward mobility. I know there could be many angle to see it and that is the reason i hate a political discussion. Because while the wealthy enjoy the cream, the common citizen of the nation just ends up debating unnecessary only to get rude with each other.
In good faith - Peace!!
