Money is the root of all evil they say but guess why? The root of all evil stops nonsense on different occasions. Not having money isn’t something any one of us should be proud of because the world today is for the rich, bold and audacious. If you don’t fall under any , you need to rethink your life again. If you have observed recently, you hardly see rich kids hanging out with poor kids and you know why. The rich marries the rich- you remember that saying? This is right where it starts. People who are rich or semi-rich and want their kids to have the best of lives make sure to build a strong foundation for them.Take them to the best of schools where they are likely to meet kids of the president, prime minister and more. For them it isn’t about the money, it’s the investment that counts.
This also applies to our government. What we normal people don’t know is that the world we live in is a competition. Even in our work places, we sometimes find ourselves competing with others to be the best. It’s the same way with countries. The US wants to take over the world and Ghana who’s also trying to stand on her feet is working so hard to be better than the US. Most at times, it’s about survival of the fittest out here.
The governments responsibility is to make sure the country’s economy is stable and they will go to every length to do that. In doing that, I believe take it even helps reduce the rate of poverty in the country. It’s only those who want to remain poor forever that sit and wallow in misery over being poor. I’ve seen people who poor to the core rise to riches just because they made sure to put themselves in the right place, at the right time and with the right people.
The government doesn’t know me, or you or even the next person by you. All they know is, the country must grow, the economy must be boosted and our currency must be stable. If you want to be poor, that’s your own beef to work on. It’s true that the rich keeps getting rich but honestly , you can’t blame the government for someone’s riches which came years of working their ass off. I understand that every country has these corrupt people in their leadership, but do you really think all they do is make sure the number of rich people in your country remains the same? I guess not.
If you what the government and all policies governing your country to work for you, you need to stay seeing things and thinking differently. It’s only then that you will be able to sit at the table of the rich or roll with the government of the rich.
