It is getting worse nowadays because people either have stopped reporting or have adapted to bear. It is an injustice when we started living in a crime environment because it is not harming us. We can name this poor law and order condition. Where the rich are protected from the harms of crime, while the poor suffer a lot. I believe in the following statement of the Last Prophet Muhammad SAW,
"Previous nations had faced destruction because they punished poor people, while exempting punishment for rich people for committing crimes"
(Hadith: Termezi)
Hence, it can be easily ruled out that when crime is hidden in the curtains of wealth, we can't make progress.
Is it Deadly to stand for the Truth in this modern era?
We have a judicial system in every country that is based on Evidence and Proof. If someone has committed a crime, then reporting it is not enough. You have to collect evidence to prove someone's criminal activities. Otherwise, no one can punish a criminal or even a killer. Hence, you should be strong in proving someone's crime because it is sometimes life-threatening in underdeveloped countries.
Being a Muslim, I believe that
"If we can fight to stop crimes and evils, then we must fight; if we have a power, then we should use it to stop the spread of terror. If we are unable to do these things then we should at least make them feel bad if something is wrong in front of us although it is the weakest level of Belief"
Following these things in practical life, I have witnessed crimes on two occasions where I have used power as well as I have fought. It was pure testimony of my Belief but I did my best.
In University, our professor betrayed and blackmailed my fellow because he had taken a water test from the water cooler in our hostel. The professor was the hostel warden and a corrupt person. In formalities, he had shown that he had changed the filter, but the result of the water test was opposite. I stood with my fellow because he was correct. Although the professor also warned me about giving an F grade, I presented his report to the Vice Chancellor of the University. I also took help from my fellows if the VC would not accept the reality, then we must go for a protest. Finally, VC accepted the reality and punished the hostel warden. It was 1st time I fought with a professor on the front line.
Similarly, there is a police station near my house. One Thief snatched the mobile from my old neighbour. This old neighbour visited the police station and filed a case against the unknown thief. Police, instead of further proceedings, pushed the old man for evidence. This old neighbour came to my house and requested me to provide CCTV video because we had a camera in front of my house. When he provided the video to the SHO, the SHO, instead of filing a case against the thief, started punishing the old man because the thief was his cousin. He was crying and going home. I heard the voice. I stopped him and realised the situation. I decided to interfere. SHO 1st ignored me and also warned me. Later he was willing to file a case when I approached MNA in our region. As he was dishonest, the thief was not arrested even after more than fourteen days. I complained against the SHO on the CM portal where this case found clearance. SHO was disqualified and justice was provided to the old man. The old man not only received his Android but was also able to fight against the mafia after my intervention.

Final Thoughts
Crimes should be stopped either by force or by evidence. If we want to be successful in our lives, then we should be brave enough to stand for the right people. The elite class can dominate easily by using money. We can defeat them by the use of power and by the use of words and evidence. Be a big supporter for the people who are hopeless and are facing oppression and terror by rich people. Do whatever is easy for us to crash tyranny. I know it is difficult and not easy for everyone, but it is one of the sacred jobs to stand for the most hurt and poor people if they are in the right position. I always feel proud of what I have done for the truth.
