This time, I present a ceiba tree (ceiba pentandra) in transformation, coming out of its leaf-shedding stage and entering its flowering stage. It is a tree that grows at high altitudes, with a very wide trunk and very extended branches. It is native to Mesoamerica, but also occurs in South America, as well as in tropical areas of Africa and Asia.
The photos I am sharing with you are of a specimen located on the banks of the Manzanares River (in my city, Cumaná, Venezuela), where several specimens can be found, refreshing the environment and providing plenty of shade, as well as attracting attention with their unique beauty.
