A Great Big Update!
I Done Tore It All Apart!
A bit sad to say that I only realized to get progress photos when I have done most of the heavy work already, this was really the biggest in the moment decision I have ever made! Regarding the house of-course!
I have realized the longer we live here the better ideas we get with what to do around the house and yard and more than often the ideas keep changing. There is a lot of work ahead for what we want to achieve with the house but step by step we will get it done!
Fortunately I am able to put in major progress mostly every weekend. This one however might have left me grinding in my tracks!

The Idea Behind It!
So the idea with all of this is to get the spaces around the house a bit cooler, so by removing the rocks and planting grass in its place might work for me, the grass with the ground will keep cooler for longer, especially when making it wet.
The pathways where the tyres of my car will run I will obviously fill in with rocks, like a rock path surrounded by grass.

Not A Easy Task!
Well I might be lying... it was fairly easy but very labour intensive!
Getting all those rocks to this side of the fence proved to be something! I did mention this was in the moment right? So once I starting moving all the rocks I had to finish up with the plan I set in motion right!
No turning back!
We are even going to add another little garden outside of the yard as well.
Not just a garden, one with two or three, perhaps even four quick growing trees, that would help for shading and also making it cooler around the house!

Setting It In!
Ah well this probably was a step to skip out, but I decided to wet it through properly as there was a lot of dirt caught between the rocks that I wanted to go settle at the bottom of the gravel patch!
There is still some spots I need to run over with but for another day!

The Ground Underneath!
I'm no smart pants and I can't say whether the ground underneath the rocks are dead or just barren.
It was almost like the water couldn't penetrate the surface of the ground, a weird thing to say the least. I've seen it before obviously but weird indeed!

I Had No Choice...
I mean I really had no choice, since the ground didn't just want a wetting I had to give it some extra love for that water to really soak in there...
I grabbed my trusty spade and fork and got started! It's not that big of a patch and all of this in a days work!
The only problem being... And that's what I meant at the start of the post that I was grinding to a halt after this!
I can't find grass anywhere really... I mean sure I can buy it from some corporation and pay a whole lot or I can just get it from someone selling it next to the road... for a fraction of the price! Then At-least it will grow laughs!!
So all in all I have to hang in there before I can really finish this project up! Most of the work already done though!

More Of The Same Bricks.
This was just a little bonus we found when loosening up the dirt, we found a whole bunch of bricks underneath the top layer of soil and thought well since we have this we might as well use this for the garden outside. Then at-least it blends in with the house bricks.
