Managed to get the #doodlewash prompt done for the day before we had to be out the door on the way to Deer Park.

To the school by 7:30 and headed in to the weigh ins and check in.

Eventually there ended up a lot of people in the gyms but there is a huge commons area to hang out in that held many people and reduced the noise level a bit.

R did really well despite winning 1 and loosing 3 matches. Many of the kids wrestle in the USA wrestling system which starts in November so they have a couple more months practice over R. He ended up in 4th place for his age/weight. In a couple matches he scored double digit points which is a good sign.

I was able to keep up on the PDC and Littler of course won the tourney.

Rain came through mid day and dropped a bit on the region. Once the tournament was done we stopped at store before heading home.

Me, the perennial asshole, couldn't step out of my own head and fucked things up even more, and again. It is like I have no ability to NOT try and burn the world to the ground. My life is controlled by my inner Cornholio with a lighter and a sugar high.... Everything is alight around me and seeming to be near conflagration point.

Was out trying to get the pedal toe clips installed and was trimming the plastic on a pedal with the band saw when the pedal slipped off the blade and my gloved thumb went right into the running blade. It nearly cut the tip of my thumb off and I instantly put pressure on it. No blood at all until I had to take my glove off. THEN it began to bleed but I kept it to a minimum. Got inside and got it wrapped in Steri-strip. HOLY FUCK IT HURTS!!!!

I managed to get the holes drilled in one pedal and then put the clip on the wrong way. I gave up for the day to let the pain subside.

Changing the dressings this is the cut. Missed the nail and is "only a flesh wound".

A rather painful flesh wound. I reapplied Steri-strips and wrapped in stretch tape to protect for the night. Much of my evening was spent with my thumb above my heart to reduce the pain.

Takes longer for the 4 pieces than it does a full sheet. 4 more printing now and still a few hours left till done.

Finished the rest of daily watercolors. Got the ones I didn't do Saturday and then also did Sunday's. Playing with the storm look in the bottom right came out nifty.

5-htp seems to work for sleep as I got an extra hour this morning and woke tired instead of wide awake at 4am. My thumb woke me regularly as every time I moved it throbbed, and it still is really painful.

Boys to school in a couple hours, daily stuff to do, try to keep my thumb from hurting too much, will get the pedals done and installed on my bike, then have to have dinner ready early as R has wrestling practice this evening.
