Feliz y bendecido día a todos mis queridos amigos de esta maravillosa Comunidad de Gems, hoy vengo a compartirles un increíble paseo en con el grupo de adultos mayores al cual pertenezco aquí en la comuna de Quilicura, Santiago de Chile, Chile.
Este paseo fue para el valle El Romeral, este es un centro recreacional y de bienestar diseñado como un parque natural, está ubicado en la Comuna de Hijuelas, provincia de Quillota, una zona famosa por su microclima privilegiado, y su producción de flores, es un lugar pensado para el descanso integral, donde se combina la diversión del parque acuático, con terapia de relajación profunda.

Happy and blessed day to all my dear friends in this wonderful Gems Community! Today I'm sharing an incredible outing with the senior citizens group I belong to here in the Quilicura district of Santiago, Chile.
This outing was to El Romeral Valley, a recreational and wellness center designed like a natural park. It's located in the Hijuelas district, Quillota province, an area famous for its privileged microclimate and flower production. It's a place designed for complete relaxation, combining the fun of a water park with deep relaxation therapy.

En el lugar nos recibieron con un deslicioso desayuno, unos panes rellenos con jamón y queso y un exquisito café otros, tomaron té o simplemente jugo, fue un momento muy emotivo para compartir con todos mis compañeras adultas mayores en un lugar tan privilegiado.
Luego de desayunar salimos a conocer el exterior del lugar, poseen una piscina témperada techada, con agua a una temperatura deliciosa que permite relajar los músculos de la articulaciones, sin importar el clima exterior, también habían unas camas de cuarzo, estas sirven para relajarse, había un parque acuático con toboganes, y un vivero hermoso que lo llaman la Capital de las Flores y una zona de esparcimiento con áreas verdes.

At the facility, we were welcomed with a delicious breakfast: some were bread rolls filled with ham and cheese, and others had exquisite coffee, tea, or simply juice. It was a very touching moment to share with all my fellow senior citizens in such a privileged place.
After breakfast, we went outside to explore the grounds. They have a heated indoor pool with water at a delightful temperature that allows you to relax your muscles and joints, regardless of the weather outside. There were also quartz beds for relaxation, a water park with slides, a beautiful nursery known as the Flower Capital, and a recreational area with green spaces.

Tambien como parte del paseo fuimos a conocer un vivero muy cercano, llamado Las matas, aquí pudimos ver una increíble variedad de plantas, y nos informaron que gran parte de las flores que se venden en Chile, se cultivan en este valle, muy bien conocido La capital de las flores. También visitamos un lugar donde venden piedras de cuarzo y trabajos tallados en las piedras.

As part of our outing, we also visited a nearby plant nursery called Las Matas. There, we saw an incredible variety of plants and were told that many of the flowers sold in Chile are grown in this valley, which is well known as the Flower Capital. We also visited a place that sells quartz stones and stone carvings.

Para nuestro grupo de adultos mayores el viaje al Valle el Romeral, fue mucho más que un simple paseo, fue un encuentro con la naturaleza, el bienestar, fue un paseo relajante, donde el contacto con las plantas y las flores del vivero que visitamos, fue algo muy gratificante, me encantó el calor sanador de las camas de cuarzo, disfrutar con mis compañeras de la piscina temperada, ahí pudimos darnos cuenta que podemos pasar un momento increíble cuando nos redeamos de personas maravillosas con nuestras mismas necesidades e intereses, ser un adulto mayor no nos debe limitar pasarla bien al contrario, es una forma de recordarnos que a nuestra edad también podemos tener calidad de vida.

For our group of seniors, the trip to Valle el Romeral was much more than a simple outing; it was an encounter with nature and well-being. It was a relaxing stroll, where the contact with the plants and flowers at the nursery we visited was very rewarding. I loved the healing warmth of the quartz beds and enjoying the heated pool with my companions. There, we realized that we can have an incredible time when we surround ourselves with wonderful people who share our needs and interests. Being a senior citizen shouldn't limit us from having a good time; on the contrary, it's a way of reminding us that at our age we can also have a high quality of life.
