Hi everyone and welcome back to "My Life in Soccerverse"! Today it's a light episode: Raków in their second Champions League match, the third league game for Viktoriya Sumy and Panachaiki (who sat out the previous round) and, as announced, a new club joining the Victory Vault universe and our journey soon. Unfortunately I took it for granted there were no Wednesday games so both teams played with the previous match's tactics, not properly "tailored" to the opponent they faced.
Round 2 – Champions League
🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa
We continue the dream called Champions, this time flying to Antwerp, Belgium, to face the home side. The result is a carbon copy of the first match but, with their goalkeeper Man of the Match, we have more than one thing to complain about. We lacked that bit of luck, but the important thing is to live this great adventure.
Round 4 – League
🇺🇦 Viktoriya Sumy
After 6 points in the first 2 games, we go to the field of a superior but not irresistible team in terms of tactics and organization. They edge it with a goal in the 69th minute: too bad, because with the right reading the game could have said something completely different.
🇬🇷 Panachaiki
We take the stage in Athens, on the field of AEK's B team, a side within our reach but who, despite being down to 10 men from the 14th minute, dominates the game. After our initial lead they score the definitive 1-1 goal at the start of the second half. Disappointing, but given how it went it's still a good point.
Victory Vault Expands: New Club Joins
Victory Vault is pleased to announce the acquisition of a majority stake in Zlin, a team currently at the bottom of the Czech second division but a noble club deserving of much bigger stages. The goal will be to take the reins of an already strong and competitive group and relaunch it towards promotion as early as this season. The new coach will be appointed shortly. The fact that IRL the club has returned to the First Division and is performing well is excellent for the players' overall ratings in the future.
Week 4 Balance and Outlook
Discreet balance in Champions League with another 0-0 that, while keeping Raków alive in the group, leaves a bitter taste for the chances created. Poor results in the midweek round, especially due to my oversight about Wednesday's games: Viktoriya Sumy and Panachaiki come away with a loss and a draw that could have been avoided with the right tactics. Great enthusiasm instead for the Zlin acquisition. A historic Czech club ready to return to prominence under Victory Vault guidance: I can't wait to start this new challenge.

Ciao a tutti e ben tornati a "My Life in Soccerverse"! Oggi episodio light: il Raków nel secondo match di Champions League, la terza di campionato per Viktoriya Sumy e Panachaiki (a riposo l'altro turno) e, come preannunciato, un nuovo club che entra nell'universo Victory Vault e si unirà presto al nostro viaggio. Purtroppo avevo dato per scontato che mercoledì non ci fossero partite così le squadre hanno giocato con la tattica della partita precedente, non essendo quindi "cucite" a dovere sull'avversario da affrontare.
Round 2 – Champions League
🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa
Continuiamo il sogno chiamato Champions, questa volta volando ad Antwerp, in Belgio, per affrontare la squadra di casa. Il risultato è la fotocopia del primo match ma, con il loro portiere Man of the Match, abbiamo più di qualcosa da recriminare. Ci è mancato quel pizzico di fortuna, ma l'importante è viverci questa grande avventura.
Round 4 – Campionato
🇺🇦 Viktoriya Sumy
Dopo i 6 punti nelle prime 2 gare, andiamo sul campo di una squadra superiore ma non irresistibile a livello di tattica ed organizzazione. La spuntano con un gol al minuto 69: peccato, perché con la giusta lettura la gara poteva dire tutt'altro.
🇬🇷 Panachaiki
Andiamo di scena ad Atene, sul campo della squadra B dell'AEK, compagine alla nostra portata ma che, nonostante l'uomo in meno dal 14', domina la gara. Dopo il nostro iniziale vantaggio riesce a segnare il gol del definitivo 1-1 ad inizio ripresa. Dispiace, ma per come è andata rimane comunque un buon punto.
Victory Vault si Allarga: Nuovo Club in Arrivo
Victory Vault è lieta di annunciare l'acquisizione del pacchetto di maggioranza dello Zlin, squadra che al momento occupa i bassifondi della seconda divisione ceca ma che è un club nobile meritevole di tutt'altri palcoscenici. L'obiettivo sarà prendere le redini di un gruppo già forte e competitivo per rilanciarlo verso la promozione già dalla stagione in corso. A breve arriverà l'insediamento del nuovo allenatore. Il fatto che IRL il club sia tornato in Prima Divisione e stia ben figurando è ottimo per gli overall dei calciatori in futuro.
Bilancio e Prospettive
Bilancio discreto in Champions League con un altro 0-0 che, se da un lato tiene il Raków vivo nel girone, dall'altro lascia l'amaro in bocca per le occasioni create. Male nel turno infrasettimanale, soprattutto per la mia svista sulle partite di mercoledì: Viktoriya Sumy e Panachaiki escono con un KO ed un pareggio che potevano essere evitati con la tattica giusta. Grande entusiasmo invece per l'acquisizione dello Zlin. Un club storico ceco pronto a tornare protagonista sotto la guida Victory Vault: non vedo l’ora di iniziare questa nuova sfida.
