Hi everyone and welcome back! In the previous episode I talked about doing reports based on single game weeks, but it makes more sense to focus on league rounds: the weeks follow the real-life calendar, yet they can contain multiple matchdays. For this reason, from now on I’ll try to publish an update for each league round, time permitting, rather than for every single week as in today’s case. In this update I’ll cover my very first appearance in continental competitions with Raków Częstochowa and matchdays 2 and 3 across the various leagues. Let’s go!
Week 3 Results
Round 1 – Champions League
🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa
A date with history as we make our Champions League debut. In the end, the fear of losing prevails, and a 0–0 draw is overall a fair result.
Round 2 – League
🇮🇹 Inter
Home debut: an inspired Biereth, with his brace, allows us to overcome a well-organized and well-set Torino side.
🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa
Despite the European efforts, the away match at Pogon shows a clear-headed and efficient team. Our first league win, which lifts our spirits after two consecutive draws.
🇺🇦 Viktoriya Sumy
Some countries, including Ukraine, have leagues with an odd number of clubs. This time it’s our turn to sit out.
🇷🇴 Bihor Oradea
We host a good side, but we deal with business professionally and close it out with a deserved 2–0.
🇷🇺 Amkar
After the opening match, we also face the other newly promoted team, but this time it’s a side with higher quality and good coaching. We lose 2–0 and come back down to earth a bit after last round’s thrashing.
🇹🇷 Denizlispor
Funny twist of fate: in Turkey as well we face the second newly promoted team in two games, once again away from home, and once again we lose 2–0.
🏴 Edinburgh City
60% possession, 33 total shots with 14 on target, yet it takes us until the 89th minute to finally break the spell and unlock it. It ends only 2–0.
🇬🇷 Panachaiki
Same situation as in Ukraine, we have to sit out this round.
🇦🇹 Krems
A very good performance, well played and dominated, but won only by a narrow margin. We need to be more clinical, but for now we’ll gladly take our second consecutive win.
🇧🇬 Sayana Haskovo
We bounce back after the opening slip-up: we play better but only come away with a draw that leaves a bit of a bitter taste. The turning point is just around the corner…
🇭🇷 Segesta Sisak
A one-sided game; missing promotion by a single point still hurts. We are strong and we don’t let ourselves be intimidated by our opponents.
🇫🇷 Dieppe
We host a club that, in terms of history, fans, prestige, resources, and squad, belongs to another planet. We take a huge beating but stay focused on our main goal, which remains fighting for the top spots all the way to the end.
Round 3 – League
🇮🇹 Inter
First Derby d’Italia in charge of Inter. We decide, in a very unusual way, to give up possession and play on the counter, and the choice pays off. Our speedsters make the difference: Thuram opens the scoring, then, in the final minutes after the hosts’ equaliser, Djù gifts us the 3 points that take us to 9, together with surprise package Lecco, our next opponent.
🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa
After a nice win, another very dangerous side comes to visit us, Widzew Łódź. We clearly play better and manage to edge it by a single goal.
🇺🇦 Viktoriya Sumy
Fresh from a rest round, we host Livyi and show that we definitely didn’t reach the Premier by accident. Two wins out of two, excellent foundations on which to build our survival.
🇷🇴 Bihor Oradea
Bihor cyclone! A 3–0 win away from home and the table shows a perfect record after the first three rounds.
🇷🇺 Amkar
After the defeat in our last outing, we treat ourselves to another thrashing in our home debut. Six points from three matches is not bad at all for a newly promoted side.
🇹🇷 Denizlispor
With a trajectory still very similar to Amkar’s, we debut at home with an easy win and move up to 6 points from the first three games.
🏴 Edinburgh City
We pick up where we left off in the last match, but this time there is no spell to break. We unlock it in the first quarter of an hour and seal it with a clear four-goal win.
🇬🇷 Panachaiki
Another favourable rest round here as well; we return to the pitch and earn another 3 points at home.
🇦🇹 Krems
Surprisingly, we fall in front of our own fans, losing by a narrow margin a match we had managed to equalise. The season, however, has only just begun: many battles still await us.
🇧🇬 Sayana Haskovo
In a game full of chances on both sides, we finally manage to win our first match and climb to 4 points in the table.
🇭🇷 Segesta Sisak
We dominate from start to finish but only manage to score once; luckily it’s enough to bring home the 3 points and keep our perfect record intact.
🇫🇷 Dieppe
We unleash the “anger” from the previous game on unfortunate Pontivy, who go home after a tennis-style, definitive 7–0. We’re back on the run.
Week 3 Balance and Outlook
Another extremely positive run of results: many clubs are still on maximum points or at least firmly on track for their respective goals, from promotion pushes to relegation battles. Raków’s European debut gives extra flavour to this Week 3, with Inter continuing to fly in the league. Starting next week, a new club may join the ranks of Victory Vault, expanding the project to yet another country. As always, see you next league round with a fresh update!

Ciao a tutti e ben tornati! Nello scorso episodio avevo parlato di report basati sulle singole game week, ma è più corretto ragionare sui turni di campionato: le week seguono il calendario reale, ma al loro interno possono esserci più giornate. Per questo, da qui in avanti cercherò di proporre un appuntamento per ogni turno di campionato, tempo permettendo, invece che per ogni singola week come nel caso odierno. In questo aggiornamento racconterò il mio esordio assoluto nelle competizioni continentali con il Raków Częstochowa e le giornate 2 e 3 dei vari campionati. Andiamo!
Risultati Week 3
Round 1 – Champions League
🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa
Appuntamento con la storia con l'esordio in Champions League. Alla fine a trionfare è la paura di non perdere, uno 0-0 tutto sommato giusto.
Round 2 – Campionato
🇮🇹 Inter
Esordio tra le mura amiche: un ispiratissimo Biereth, con la sua doppietta, ci permette di piegare una squadra organizzata e ben messa in campo come il Torino.
🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa
Nonostante le fatiche europee, la trasferta di Pogon mostra una squadra lucida e concreta. Prima vittoria in campionato che ci rinfranca dopo due pareggi consecutivi.
🇺🇦 Viktoriya Sumy
Alcuni paesi, tra i quali l'Ucraina, hanno campionati con un numero di club dispari. In questa giornata siamo noi a fermarci.
🇷🇴 Bihor Oradea
Ospitiamo una buona squadra ma archiviamo la pratica con un meritato 2-0.
🇷🇺 Amkar
Dopo la partita d'esordio affrontiamo anche l'altra neopromossa, in questo caso però una squadra superiore a livello di qualità e ben allenata. Perdiamo 2-0 e torniamo un po' con i piedi per terra dopo la goleada della scorsa giornata.
🇹🇷 Denizlispor
Scherzi del destino: anche in Turchia affrontiamo la seconda neopromossa in due partite, ancora una volta in trasferta ed anche in questo caso perdiamo 2-0.
🏴 Edinburgh City
60% di possesso palla, 33 tiri totali di cui 14 nello specchio della porta, ma ci vogliono addirittura 89' per spezzare l'incantesimo e sbloccarla. Finisce soltanto 2-0.
🇬🇷 Panachaiki
Stesso discorso dell'Ucraina, ci tocca stare fermi un turno.
🇦🇹 Krems
Un'ottima gara, ben giocata e dominata ma vinta soltanto di misura. Bisogna essere più concreti ma, per il momento, ci accontentiamo della seconda vittoria consecutiva.
🇧🇬 Sayana Haskovo
Ripartiamo dopo il passo falso all'esordio: giochiamo meglio ma ne usciamo con un pareggio che ci lascia un po' di amaro in bocca. La svolta è dietro l'angolo...
🇭🇷 Segesta Sisak
Partita dominata, la mancata promozione per un solo punto brucia ancora. Siamo forti e non ci facciamo intimorire dagli avversari.
🇫🇷 Dieppe
Ospitiamo un club che, per storia, tifosi, blasone, risorse e rosa, è di un altro pianeta. Prendiamo una batosta colossale ma rimaniamo focalizzati sull'obiettivo, che resta quello di battagliare fino alla fine per le posizioni di vertice.
Round 3 – Campionato
🇮🇹 Inter
Primo Derby d'Italia alla guida dell'Inter. Decidiamo, in maniera del tutto inusuale, di lasciare il pallino del gioco agli avversari e giocare di ripartenza, e la scelta paga. Passiamo grazie ai nostri velocisti: prima la sblocca Thuram, poi, nel finale, dopo il pareggio dei padroni di casa, è Djù a regalarci i 3 punti che ci fanno salire a 9 insieme alla rivelazione Lecco, nostro prossimo avversario.
🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa
Dopo la bella vittoria viene a farci visita un'altra squadra molto temibile, il Widzew Łódź. Giochiamo oggettivamente meglio e riusciamo a portarla a casa di misura.
🇺🇦 Viktoriya Sumy
Freschi dal turno di riposo, ospitiamo il Livyi e dimostriamo di non aver raggiunto la Premier per sbaglio. Due vittorie su due che costituiscono ottime fondamenta sulle quali costruire la salvezza.
🇷🇴 Bihor Oradea
Ciclone Bihor! 3-0 in trasferta e classifica che dice punteggio pieno dopo le prime tre giornate.
🇷🇺 Amkar
Dopo la sconfitta nell'ultima uscita, ci concediamo un'altra goleada all'esordio casalingo. Sei punti in tre partite non sono affatto male per una neopromossa.
🇹🇷 Denizlispor
Con un andamento ancora molto simile a quello dell'Amkar, esordiamo in casa vincendo facilmente e portandoci a 6 punti in classifica nelle prime tre.
🏴 Edinburgh City
Ripartiamo dal dominio visto nell'ultima gara ma questa volta non c'è incantesimo che tenga. La sblocchiamo nel primo quarto d'ora e la chiudiamo con un netto poker.
🇬🇷 Panachaiki
Riposo favorevole anche in questo caso: torniamo in campo e, tra le mura amiche, prendiamo altri 3 punti.
🇦🇹 Krems
A sorpresa cadiamo davanti ai nostri tifosi, perdendo di misura una gara che eravamo riusciti a pareggiare. La stagione, però, è soltanto all'inizio: ci aspettano ancora tante battaglie.
🇧🇬 Sayana Haskovo
In una partita con tante occasioni da entrambe le parti, riusciamo finalmente a vincere la nostra prima partita e a salire a quota 4 in classifica.
🇭🇷 Segesta Sisak
Dominiamo in lungo e in largo ma riusciamo a segnare soltanto un gol; fortunatamente basta per tornare a casa con i 3 punti che ci tengono a punteggio pieno.
🇫🇷 Dieppe
Scarichiamo la “rabbia” della gara precedente sul malcapitato Pontivy, che torna a casa con un tennistico e tombale 7-0. Ricominciamo a correre.
Bilancio e Prospettive Week 3
Un’altra tornata di risultati ultra positiva: tanti club a punteggio pieno o comunque solidi nei rispettivi obiettivi, dalle corse promozione alle lotte salvezza. L’esordio europeo del Raków dà ancora più sapore a questa Week 3, con l’Inter che continua a correre forte in campionato. Dalla prossima settimana potrebbe aggiungersi un nuovo club tra le fila di Victory Vault, allargando così il progetto ad un altro paese.
