Good morning to all my wonderful friends.
I was on my way to the Parisian. The first challenge is finding a bus. I did not find it that easy. I went around and just asked buses randomly.
After walking for a while, we ended up at this particular park. Despite Macau being crowded and modern, there are parks like this not far away.
Portugal is famous for its tiles. Known as Azulejos, you can see lots of them around the city.
After getting on the bus and touring around the city, I arrived at this hotel, where there was a taxi stand. Took the taxi to the Parisian. The Taxi rides here cost around HKD 100 or around USD 25.
Arrived at the Parisian, and the first impression is wow. Such glamour. Such luxury.
I felt like a VIP. I guess that's what everyone here feels, too. In the middle of this whole lobby area is a huge POP MART monument.
This is based on the new series from Pop Mart, " The Apple of my Eye" .
I feel as though I was in Europe. The weather outside is cold at around 18 degree celsius while I was there. The tall ceilings with lots of balconies. Up in the ceiling are the paint works of the Victorian Era.
This was why I was here. The copy or replica of the Eiffel Tower of Paris at 1/3 of its original size but without travelling all the way to Paris.
The floors are amazing and beautiful. I was just here for the tower, but not for the gambling part. I am not really a fan of gambling.
The candeliers here are elegant and ornate, illuminating the hallways. Gold paint all around the pillars. Wow.
I was so amazed at this hallway that I had to snap a photo of my wife.
We also wanted to take a picture of this Christmas tree.
After spending an hour here being amazed at the architecture and recording lots of videos of the whole place, I was ready to get back to Hong Kong.
