Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Nightmares With Quora Towershead

Time flies! Just completed the 252nd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 5 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

We Got 5th!!!

So for the final result, we were 5th out of 10 guilds and got 250 Merits and around 11 SPS! A good bag of SPS! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?

Individually, I had 5 fights this time and I won 1 of them this time! Finished 5th within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 2 additional wins for me.

Gladius Card Used: None

Forgotten One did extremely well in this Poison battle, helped by two Martyr boosts from the adjacent cards. Even though my opponent had Quora Towershead, I was able to take home this win easily.

Battle 2 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway

I thought Trapp Falloway will be a strong card for this Little League battle but my opponent fielded a smarter and stronger lineup with newer cards, and I struggled to keep up. In the end, I was slightly short and had no luck with the win here.

Battle 3 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato

Made a grave error here in fielding Magic cards for a Magic Reflect battle. It was over before it even began. Oops.

MVP: None

Battle 4 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine

Sigh. Am so tired of fighting against Quora Towershead. I thought I fielded a strong lineup but still I had no match against Quora Towershead.

MVP: None

Battle 5 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine

Guess what. It's Quora Towershead. No match against her in this low mana fight where she is paired with 2 cards with Martyr and the Obsidian summoner. Nothing to say.

MVP: None

So that sums up my 5 battles for this brawl! 20% win rate this time, probably one of my worst brawl. But it's frustrating to fight against Quora Towershead all the time. Let's keep fighting PIZZA 2!
