Ya no estamos en el primer mes del año; es decir, el 2026 ya agarró su rumbo y eso mismo hemos hecho muchos. Las actividades están en pleno apogeo, aunque debo confesar que hoy no es mi caso.
Estos días han sido de trabajo intenso, con muchas tareas por realizar y, por si fuera poco, ayer celebramos por todo lo alto el cumpleaños de mi hijo mayor. Para la ocasión hice una torta especial —una petición suya— que pueden ver en este post. Pero como mi esposa iba a preparar un pernil y hacía falta pan (y ya hemos comprobado mil veces que no hay nada como el pan casero), preparé 20 panes canilla.
Afortunadamente todo salió bien y todos disfrutaron muchísimo. Aparte de mi torta, hubo cuatro más que trajeron otras personas.
Entre el esfuerzo que significó todo eso, sumado al trabajo normal y con el ingrediente adicional de unos vodkas que me sirvieron de recompensa, hoy estoy "inutilizado".
Así que comparto unas fotos, hago mi Power Up y creo que el siguiente paso debe ser irme a la cama.

We are no longer in the first month of the year; in other words, 2026 has found its stride, and many of us have done the same. Activities are in full swing, though I must confess that today is not my day.
These past few days have been characterized by intense work and many tasks to complete. As if that weren't enough, yesterday we held a big celebration for my eldest son's birthday. I made a special cake for the occasion—a request of his—which you can see in this post. But since my wife was preparing a pork leg and we needed bread—and we’ve proven a thousand times that nothing beats homemade—I baked 20 "panes canilla."
Fortunately, everything went well and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. Besides my cake, there were four others brought by other guests.
Between the work that involved (on top of my usual routine), plus the additional ingredient of a few vodkas that served as my reward, today I am "out of commission."
So, I’ll share some photos, do my Power Up, and I think the next step must be heading to bed.
