#deutsch Als ich den einsamen Fischer am Strand eines Vorortes von Porto (Portugal) erblickte, kam mir gerade der Refrain des Cumbias "El Pecador" welche Toto la mariposa singt, in den Sinn. Auch ein passender Titel für das Bild wäre wohl "Der Mann und das Meer". Ganz allein stand der Fischer da im Angesicht vom Atlantik und Nebelfront. Ob er dann wirklich kein Glück beim fischen, wie der Fischer im Lied, kann ich nicht sagen, denn kurz danach sass ich in einem schönen Strandrestaurant mit Blick auf das Meer und ass die beste Francesiña. Und auch als Ex-Gastgewerbler kann ich sagen, auch der Service war dort super.
#english When I saw the lonely fisherman on the beach in a suburb of Porto (Portugal), the chorus of the cumbia song ‘El Pecador’ sung by Toto la mariposa came to mind. Another fitting title for the picture would be ‘The Man and the Sea’. The fisherman stood there all alone, facing the Atlantic Ocean and the fog. I can't say whether he really had no luck fishing, like the fisherman in the song, because shortly afterwards I was sitting in a beautiful beach restaurant overlooking the sea, eating the best Francesiña. And as a former hospitality professional, I can say that the service there was also excellent.
#espanol Cuando vi al pescador solitario en la playa de un suburbio de Oporto (Portugal), me vino a la mente el estribillo de la cumbia «El Pecador», que canta Toto la Mariposa. Otro título adecuado para la imagen sería «El hombre y el mar». El pescador estaba allí solo, frente al Atlántico y la niebla. No puedo decir si realmente tuvo mala suerte pescando, como el pescador de la canción, porque poco después me senté en un bonito restaurante de playa con vistas al mar y comí la mejor francesiña. Y como antiguo hostelero, puedo decir que el servicio también era estupendo.
