Time For The ICE To Melt

Supposed to get above the freezing mark tomorrow, first time in far longer than I care think about. Hopefully it helps all this frozen stuff do the disappearing act. The main roads have been clear for a while now but anything that hasn't been plowed, salted or shoveled is caked in snow and ice.

There's more than one sort of ice we'd like to see disappear around here. Thanks to the treacherous conditions outdoors, there's not been a proper Louisville taking to the streets in response to all the recent outrages.

Louisville's not taking it lying down, mind you, but for now it's taken the form of vigils, meetups and organizing. There were even a decent number of places closed here Friday in observance of the general strike.

Much like the weather, we're just starting to get warmed up.

Now to watch the ICE melt away. . .
