¡Bendiga!

They say that in Ontario, the silence is so profound that you can hear the snow falling in the forest. But tonight, the silence in my room is louder than ever. I just read something that shook me to my core and made me wonder if, amid all this technology and “personal branding”, we are forgetting what we are really made of... I kept thinking about what @emiliorios and @sacra97 said in their recent posts. Both of them, with their particular way of seeing the present, made me think about our digital life: on the one hand, there is our fear of technology, and on the other, laziness or that lack of commitment to write from the heart.

Reading the comments, I got goosebumps seeing how the collective unease was palpable in the atmosphere. What a thing... it gives me chills to think about the future and makes me wake up and say, ‘Hey, we're forgetting what we're made of!’. I try to imagine the thoughts of people during the Industrial Revolution, that awakening; perhaps we feel fear of the new.
And, thinking about it, I realise that support is not just a vote, it is building relationships based on trust... I would like to share with you a little of what I have learned. When it comes to communication, being clear and direct is best; I am not in the habit of hiding the sun with a finger. I realised that things often get complicated when we don't say what we really think, which is something that happened to me at the beginning! Another crucial thing is to understand that empathy helps us a lot to truly connect, to put ourselves in the other person's shoes. If we can do this, I think we'll see how ideas flow much better and we'll achieve great things together.
Sometimes we don't give our own biology the importance it deserves, you know? Think about this: human beings are naturally very good at adapting. We are born with nothing, we don't even know how to talk or wear clothes. But within a few months, we're already “talking a mile a minute” and running around, defying gravity without fear. So why all the fuss about technology, and especially blockchain? In 2018, for me, all this was like reading Chinese. And now, here I am, feeling like a fish in water in this environment.

Adapting is not something we choose, it's more of an instinct, something that comes naturally to us and adds flavour to our existence. But let's see, what really worries me is this: what's the point of knowing how to use a tool if what you want to say has no substance, do you understand what I mean?
I'm a bit repulsed by the obsession with ‘personal branding’, to be honest. Too many pretty pictures, it all looks like a magazine, but there's nothing with a real heart. Being a creator at HIVE isn't just about looking good, it's about having the courage to invite real dialogue, a good debate. It gets on my nerves to see how we've gotten ourselves caught up in cardboard diplomacy, made up of nothing but automatic applause, clichés, and meaningless votes of commitment. Listen to me carefully: don't get hung up on votes. Take a look at the readership figures. Yes, look... if you have 800 votes –good for you– but people only spent a total of three minutes looking at the post and the ten comments are empty, then I don't know, something's wrong. We read quickly, don't we?
True wealth, the kind that really makes a token worth more than its market value, is being able to say: ‘Look, I respect you, but in my experience, things are a little different...’ That's where the fun lies, you know? If we all end up in a circle where we only say nice things to each other, without constructive criticism, then we're not going to grow, are we?

A text being of high quality doesn't just mean that it looks good, eh? It goes beyond that. It means that it's ethical and that it brings two minds together, makes them think the same thing, creates a connection. A comment that has conviction is worth much more than a thousand ‘nice posts’.
Looking ahead to the end of 2026, which is already upon us, I am clear about one thing: technology is going to take off, but that will make the ‘human touch’ pure gold. Machines can shape things, but what really matters is the soul you put into every word, and no one can copy that. The true power of voting lies in sincerity and participation, not flattery.
It's cold outside, so cold that it's about -16 °C (about 3 °F, it really feels like it), so from this frozen corner I want to say this: ***don't be afraid of the machine, but do earn a lot of respect for what you write yourselves. Curiosity is what keeps me young, and it can work for you too if you set your mind to it. In the end, in the blockchain and in the minds of those who read us, what really matters is the authenticity with which we dare to live.

I hope you'll give me your opinion, but be honest, OK? I'll be delighted to hear your comments so I can improve. A big hug to all the brave souls who made it this far. Bless you!
