Hello, today we continue redrawing with the Zingtober prompts, specifically we’ll be redrawing/coloring the prompt I drew on day number 8 with the theme Reckless. Back then, I drew Cinella escaping from a fire, showing her bravery. Today I want to give her life and color. But the truth is, there’s another intention behind it beyond the simple drawing: I’m participating in @artofkylin’s challenge, where we’ll be drawing 28 different bugs. And Cinella, despite her powers, is still a bug, so she will be our bug number 2. I hope you like this result; I really enjoyed the final outcome and the colors, even when I thought I wouldn’t be able to color the fire because of the ink hatching in the original drawing.
Hola, hoy continuamos redibujando con los prompts del Zingtober, específicamente estaremos redibujando/coloreando el prompt que dibujé el día número 8 con el tema Reckless. Aquella vez dibujé a Cinella escapando de un incendio demostrando su valentía, hoy quiero darle vida y color. Pero la verdad es que hay otra intención detrás, más que el simple dibujo, y es que estoy participando en el reto de @artofkylin donde estaremos dibujando 28 bichos distintos. Y Cinella, a pesar de sus poderes, sigue siendo un bicho, así que será nuestro bicho número 2. Espero que les guste este resultado; a mí me gustó mucho el resultado final y los colores, incluso cuando pensé que no sería capaz de colorear el fuego debido al tramado en tinta del dibujo original.

My Drawing Process
Mi Proceso de Dibujo

I started from the ink drawing, imported it into Ibis Paint, and used its highly recommended feature where, with simple adjustments on a slider, you can remove backgrounds and keep only the lines. I recommend it for cleaning drawings to anyone who enjoys working with inks or pens.
Comencé partiendo desde el dibujo a tintas, lo importé en Ibis Paint y utilicé su funcionalidad muy recomendada, donde con simples ajustes en una barra puedes ir eliminando fondos y quedarte solo con las líneas. Lo recomiendo para limpiar dibujos a todo aquel que disfrute del uso de tintas o bolígrafos.

After that, I worked on Cinella’s red and added fire highlights in yellow over her body.
Después trabajé en el rojo de Cinella y agregué luces del fuego en color amarillo sobre su cuerpo.

I polished the details of her body in black, such as some ink imperfections on her antennas and the spots on her body. Now she truly looks like a real ladybug.
Pulí los detalles de su cuerpo en negro, como algunas imperfecciones de la tinta en sus antenas y las manchas de su cuerpo. Ahora sí parece una verdadera mariquita.

I finished the rest of the body with details in brown and some highlights in white at low opacity.
Terminé con el resto del cuerpo con detalles en color café y algunas iluminaciones de luces altas en blanco con baja opacidad.

Now I will work on the background, starting with the green grass. I really liked the perspective in this drawing.
Ahora trabajaré en el fondo, comenzando por la hierba de color verde. Me gustó mucho la perspectiva en este dibujo.

Finally, I worked on the details of the sky and the flames of the fire. I remember that when I drew this day, I invented a small story of Cinella as the protector of the forest, warning everyone about the fire.
Por último, los detalles del cielo y las llamas del incendio. Recuerdo que cuando dibujé este día me inventé una pequeña historia de Cinella como protectora del bosque y cómo avisaba a todos del incendio.
