Children are young for such a short time span, it really is a worry to see so many thrust into a world of screens. Learning to play, entertaining themselves, making friends all disappears as soon as schooling years begin. You sum it up well, it does take effort to attain.

Remembering when we never had modern technology, now I think it is up to us to remind young parents not to allow watching screens completely take over life itself.
Walks in the park, gardening, talking with family sharing memories, making new or sharing old, how will children know ancestors if we don't share where they come from, to know where they are going.

What we referred to as trades working with ones hands, enrich one within something that is able to keep going without the constant worry of massive change. Trade, Technical, Commercial, Agriculture all schools we had available, great you guided your children into something that suits their personality.
