I'm trying to get some ideas to make the poems interesting. So, for this week, the poems will be kind of riddles as well instead of just random things. Can you guess what this item is?
What Am I?
Inside me are words standing side by side, Arranged with care, the whole alphabet's wide. No matter how strange or widely known, I can tell you that, just me, alone.
I’m used when you feel unsure, When something's vague need forms from pure. More words come each time you turned, No pictures, all words, meanings earned.
I don’t argue and I don’t persuade, I don’t care how the word is played. I show its use, its shape, its sound, And let you decide what you’ve found.
I change with time but stay the same, Words are new, or old, or lame. What’s slang today may settle in, Recorded once, the things you've seen.
I live on shelves, in bags, on screens, I can be a book, online, fat or thin. Not loud, not clever, not a trick, Just full of words, yes, even "frick."
I help you speak, I help you write, I help you name things wrong or right. I’m not a teacher, friend, or guide. So tell me now, what am I?
