I was very curious about the meat-filled bread that I often saw at the bakery when I was shopping at the supermarket. The aroma was very fragrant, coupled with the soft texture of the bread. I once tried buying it and wow, the taste was indeed extraordinary. Because I was so curious, yesterday I tried searching for the recipe on the internet. I immediately found a recipe that was similar to the ingredients used in the bread I bought at the bakery yesterday. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to make this bread, because I bought a lot of meat yesterday.
Meat-filled bread is a type of egg-free bread made with milk. However, the combination of meat gives it an extraordinary touch, in my opinion. The minced meat sautéed with chopped onions is so fragrant.
This was my first time making meat-filled bread, so I couldn't pass up the recipe. And of course, it had to be delicious and taste similar to the one I bought at the supermarket.
Ingredients Needed
Procedure for making
First, I prepare the bread by mixing instant yeast and granulated sugar.
Then add warm milk while stirring until evenly mixed.
Finally, after the dough is mixed, add butter and salt, then knead again. Cover the dough and let it rest for about 1 hour.
While waiting for the dough to rest, I prepare the ground meat, then chop all the tomatoes and onions coarsely.
Then sauté the garlic with butter, add the chopped tomatoes and onions, and sauté until wilted.
Add the ground meat, season with salt, pepper, and mushroom broth, cook until done, and let cool to room temperature.
After 1 hour, the dough will have doubled in size. Divide it into 6 parts.
Take one portion, flatten it, fill it with the ground beef and sliced cheese, add sauce on top, and shape it back into a ball.
Repeat until finished, arrange on a baking sheet, and let rest for about 20 minutes. Then brush with milk.
Bake until golden brown. I prefer the bread to be a bit dense, so I bake it longer, but you can adjust to your preference.
Result
Serve the meat-filled bread with sauce, or enjoy it on its own, as all the ingredients are already included in the filling. The bread is super soft, even though it's a little dry when baked, but it's still very soft. This is probably thanks to the milk coating, which makes it very light. I really like the slightly sweet and savory taste, and the bread is just right, not salty at all.
I am very happy to have made this bread, and I highly recommend it for your home menu. Not only is it easy to make, but it also tastes amazing and is perfect for breakfast.
