Part of things humans practice is self criticism , we see it as a means of motivation. We go hard on ourselves when we we couldn't attain a certain things we longed for, when our efforts sometimes didn't come out as we expected, we kind to see our worth based on how much we had achieved but then if we should be sincere to ourselves all this things affect our confidence, it drains our happiness,it low our self esteem as much as we want to discipline ourselves on some things it is important we choose to be gentle with ourselves as well, we should be kind to ourselves, physically and emotionally we should be healthy.
Words are very powerful which most of us including me most of the times carelessly just say, instead of saying "I will do it", " I can do it" we rather say "I will try maybe I can do it" ,I don't know if I can do it " we are already proclaiming doubt it negatively towards ourselves which is very bad, we should be positive,say positive things into our life, our journey even when the road is tough,"this competition, I will win it" instead of "if I see third position I will be happy" who said you cannot be the first, we are all created by the same God. Even after being positive all through, the results can out in other way , our response to ourselves should be "I did the best I could, I am learning, I will do better next time" instead of "I shouldn't have joined, " I shouldn't have attempted it"
Another way of being kinder to ourselves is resting when needed. We should learn to rest when our body calls for it, we shouldn't see resting as laziness like most see it, we should see it as something important to do if we want to continue functioning , we should see it as a way of reconnecting what we've released like energy back and to come back stronger.
We should practice kindness to ourselves. Being kind to ourselves will talk for us on how we achieve all we've been aiming at.
