Life is full of fleeting moments. But, there are some that stand out moments that shapes us, challenges us, and leave lasting marks in our hearts. In life, I've encountered so many happy moments and there's this one I can't forget in a lifetime. So here's the story;
During my secondary school days, I was promised a phone by my mum only on the note that I must pass my exams very well. I studied so hard, prayed and also asked for the spirit of clarity, understanding and knowledge. Soon, we wrote the exams and results came out sooner. I received my exam results. My hands trembled as i opened the portal, heart beating fast. When the word “Passed” appeared in bold letters, i paused for a second, smiled wider than ever before. Tears of joy filled my eyes as she ran to tell her family anout this great news. They screamed, hugged, and laughed loudly in the living room couch.
The next day, my mum came back with a samsung phone and gifted it to me. At that moment, i couldn't express how happy, joyful, and greatful i was because it was my first time having a phone. I shedded tears of joy because the exams was really tough, but i came through. For a moment, all the late nights of studying, the stress, and the doubts disappeared. The sun felt brighter, the air lighter, and my heart full of pride. It wasn’t just about passing, it was about realizing i could do hard things. To be honest, that moment has stayed with me forever. 💖
