Después de una pésima participación en el Gran Premio de Rusia, donde partí desde la última posición y en esa misma llegué, además de que fue una carrera disputada bajo una fuerte lluvia, esta vez me fue mucho mejor en el Gran Premio ETIHAD AIRWAYS de Abu Dabi. Aunque en la prueba contra reloj nuevamente me fue mal, a pesar de salir desde la última posición logré terminar la carrera en la posición número 13.
Greetings to my fellow members of the @geekzone community. After a disastrous performance at the Russian Grand Prix, where I started and finished last in a race held in heavy rain, I fared much better at the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Although I again struggled in the time trial, despite starting from last place, I managed to finish the race in 13th position.
Fue una carrera en una pista que exige mucha destreza y concentración, ya que cuenta con muchas curvas repentinas y solo un tramo de pista plana. Tuve algunos pequeños, pero muy pequeños, momentos turbulentos durante la carrera que en ocasiones me hicieron perder algunos segundos de diferencia, y en la Fórmula 1 eso es crucial, ya que cada segundo es sumamente importante y debe aprovecharse al máximo.
It was a race on a track that demands a lot of skill and concentration, as it has many sudden corners and only one flat section. I had a few small, very small, turbulent moments during the race that occasionally cost me a few seconds, and in Formula 1 that's crucial, as every second counts and must be used to the fullest.
Con el resultado de la carrera anterior había quedado en la posición número 8, pero hoy he bajado a la posición número 9, es decir, perdí una posición. Aun así, la verdad es que tuve una buena carrera y la disfruté; de hecho, creo que de todas las que he disputado en este mundial de pilotos, ha sido la más emocionante.
With the result of the previous race, I was in 8th position, but today I dropped to 9th, meaning I lost a place. Even so, I had a good race and enjoyed it; in fact, I think of all the races I've competed in this World Championship, it was the most exciting.
No logré, obviamente, sumar puntos, ya que solo los cuatro primeros tenían ese privilegio. Espero que, en la próxima carrera, que será el Gran Premio de Japón, las cosas sean diferentes y logre acumular puntos, algo que no tiene muy contento al equipo Ferrari, ya que no conozco la victoria desde la primera carrera, que fue la que gané sumando 25 puntos.
I obviously didn't manage to score any points, as only the top four had that privilege. I hope things will be different in the next race, the Japanese Grand Prix, and that I'll be able to score some points. The Ferrari team isn't too happy about this, as I haven't won a race since the first one, which I won, earning 25 points.
